Mary’s Moment

Mary, in the sweet moments
between mother and son,
your gaze followed 
his gentle breathing,
while his heart beat 
against the palm of your hand,
“Blessed is the fruit of your womb”
echoed in your thoughts and
you smiled thanking God 
for the courage
to say “Yes”.
